After 5 months on the market, we have a serious offer! I'm looking over the paperwork now, and it's pretty clear that I'll accept it. They are putting up almost all cash, so there's no worry that they won't get a loan or that the house won't appraise high enough. It's pretty much a done deal.
I don't know how soon I'll have to be out of the house, but I'll probably take off work starting next week. As soon as I'm in full-on moving mode, I'll welcome any help I can get. You will NOT be asked to move furniture - I'll have big hairy moving men for that - but if you want to help pack the small stuff, I'll be happy to put you to work. There will be lots of giveaways. :)
